Im using my Google drive account to host my large files. Has anyone tested this out and ran into any issues?
@daroobeats' Im using my Google drive account to host my large files. Has anyone tested this out and ran into any issues?
I'm not sure but I think if you host them on Google drive, clients who buy a beat get the google drive URL you created. But they don't have access unless you accept/approve the access request. You (the producer) get an email where you have to approve the access request. kind of unhandy for both sides. But I don't know, maybe there's another way to use google drive as a file hoster?
I just tested it and I think it works. Just make sure that when you create the URL in google drive, anybody can EDIT the file. If you only set it to "anybody can VIEW the file", I think that's when you get the access request email.
