Alright, so Soundgine released Blogkit and it looks fantastic but what's the most effective way to create a blogpost?

    Thanks in advance.

    Part 1: Gain Traffic

There are millions of blog posts created every day, so this means that Google will only give top rank priority to blog posts with proper structure and have enough "meat on the bone" if you will.

Some music producers don't care about traffic and just want to post for fun or document some random event, which is fine but most want to gain traffic from blog posts to convert sales. Here are some tips.

    Title of Blog:
This is extremely important. Name the title of your blog as close as what somebody would type in Google Search. For example, if you are selling voicetags, your title should read something like "The best voicetags in 2017"

    300 Word Rule
Google gives more weight to blog posts with more "meat" so although it may take longer to create a longer post, consider it an investment with traffic as a return.

    Add Images and Video
Google knows when you add media to a post, a trick pro bloggers have used is include a Youtube video related to your blog post, this will give you a viable boost.

Somehow incorporate a "Steps" or "How To" in your blog post. Google LOVE when you are providing knowledge for the public. For example, if you have a great method to mastering a track, include a video, steps like 1, 2, 3....and you're sure to get traffic in a few months when your blog post has "aged" a bit.

    Use original images
Google knows when an image has been used previously so you will get minus points in it's ranking algo, it's not a big deduction, but a deduction nevertheless.

    Highly Targetted Blog Post
Creating a blog post called "Buy Beats" is an extremely competitive title because everyone is doing that. Instead create high targetted titles like "Buy Westcoast beats Dre would approve of"

This title is unique as has powerful keywords in one title. The point is get a little more specific in your blog title. Another example

Non effective Blog Title: Widgets for Sale
Effective Blog Title: Blue Widgets for Sale in California

Enable Comments Having comments on your post will signal search engines that there is some interaction and will boost your search engine rank.

Don't expect immediate traffic from a blogpost, it may take 2-3 months to get the full effect, but the more crafted your blogpost the bigger the return. In regards to highly targetted blog titles, you can expect traffic in less than 2 weeks.

This guide is to gain traffic, the next guide is to make immediate sales from a blogpost.

    Part 2: Make Immediate Sales

Congratulations, you made a blog post worthy to gain hundreds even thousands of hits, but what good is that traffic if you can't convert into sales right?

Soundgine already has the tools to make this happen, you just have to utilize them.

Method 1: If you have a music video that has your beat in it, add it to a blog post and add a direct link to the beat underneath it using a beat link. Grab the beat link from your player, it's in the share window

Click on the the Share icon

Next, click on the chain link and copy the code

Finally add a hyperlink in your blogpost and add the code

When the visitor clicks on the buy now link, it will take you directly to the store and play the beat, at this point the customer can buy it. Soundgine was kind enough to let me alter a blog post so you can see a live example, this is how the end result looks:

    View Example Post

This a direct sale blog post that is sure to boost sales. Realistically, you probably want to add more text to the blog post but this is an example of a direct sale post.

The above example is super effective but what if you don't have a Youtube video? You can always use an image instead and make sure it's an attention getting image with the "Buy Now" link underneath.

Pods are a crazy good way to get direct sales, You can select certain beats in your catalog and put them in Pod players, Pod players are small and can fit inside on Blog posts.

    Pods Help with "Quick Sales"

For example, you have 3 EDM beats you want to showcase separately, put them in a single pod and create a blog post dedicated to EDM. When visitors come to your post they will be able to buy EDM type beats quickly.

These are just a couple quick methods to make the most out of Blogkit, what's the point fo Blogkit if you don't maximize your selling opportunities.

I was told by staff that they are working on seamless Pod integration for Blogkit. I'm not sure the exact details but you'll be able to add pods much easier to posts. <(^.^)>

'@Marketron' I'd buy you a beer, heck a pitcher of beer if I were in the area, but a THANKS will have to do! Question, how do you get the green button?

It's all done in the Blogkit composer. Click on the background color icon and choose whatever color you want.

Blogkit also comes with a plugin to add an "About Me" section. Take advantage of that as it will index with Google too.

Also keep in mind peeps, is don't fill your blog with nothing but buy this, buy that. Mix your blog with some random posts that show who you are inside, let people in. People are not buying robots (ok, some are)

Personality gets people coming back to your blog.

Short answer: Yes, it can definitely bring in traffic, and highly targetted traffic too. Attaching a blog to your main website will also bring up your website as a whole in search engines rankings.

As other mentioned, be creative with your blog posts, blog posts are an artform. Don't just add a blogpost with the title buy beats online there's too much competition there, something like buy edm beats for trailers 2017 will get you higher search engine visibility because it's more focused.

Benefits of a blog. Basically, it can only help you.

    Boost Search Engine Optimization
Search engines love fresh content. What better way to provide frequent content than with blog posts. By blogging consistently, you give Google and other search engines new content to index and you create opportunities to plug in those all-important keywords to increase your visibility on search engine results pages (SERPS).

Develop Relationships with Potential and Existing Customers
Blogging allows you to connect with your site visitors. This can be accomplished by asking your readers questions at the end of your posts to get the conversation going or by simply allowing comments and feedback. By reviewing and responding to readers’ comments, you can create a rapport with your audience, build trust, and gain valuable insight into what your customers are looking for.

Establish Your Business as an Industry Leader
No matter how small your business is, you can build trust and clout within your industry by providing valuable, expert information in your blog posts. Over time, you become a “go to” resource for helpful, informative content, which can ultimately lead to higher customer conversion rates. This is especially important for small businesses looking to gain credibility to compete with larger companies.

    Connect People to Your Brand
Blog posting allows you to show a personal side of your business that perspective and current customers won’t see through outbound marketing techniques. Blogging gives others a sense of the corporate standards, vision, and personality of your company.

    Create Opportunities for Sharing
Every time you blog, you create an opportunity for your audience to share your blog with others. Whether they link to your blog post, tweet it, or email it to others, it’s free marketing and it further validates you as a credible business.
