There are millions of blog posts created every day, so this means that Google will only give top rank priority to blog posts with proper structure and have enough "meat on the bone" if you will.
Some music producers don't care about traffic and just want to post for fun or document some random event, which is fine but most want to gain traffic from blog posts to convert sales. Here are some tips.
Title of Blog:
This is extremely important. Name the title of your blog as close as what somebody would type in Google Search. For example, if you are selling voicetags, your title should read something like "The best voicetags in 2017"
300 Word Rule
Google gives more weight to blog posts with more "meat" so although it may take longer to create a longer post, consider it an investment with traffic as a return.
Add Images and Video
Google knows when you add media to a post, a trick pro bloggers have used is include a Youtube video related to your blog post, this will give you a viable boost.
Somehow incorporate a "Steps" or "How To" in your blog post. Google LOVE when you are providing knowledge for the public. For example, if you have a great method to mastering a track, include a video, steps like 1, 2, 3....and you're sure to get traffic in a few months when your blog post has "aged" a bit.
Use original images
Google knows when an image has been used previously so you will get minus points in it's ranking algo, it's not a big deduction, but a deduction nevertheless.
Highly Targetted Blog Post
Creating a blog post called "Buy Beats" is an extremely competitive title because everyone is doing that. Instead create high targetted titles like "Buy Westcoast beats Dre would approve of"
This title is unique as has powerful keywords in one title. The point is get a little more specific in your blog title. Another example

Effective Blog Title: Blue Widgets for Sale in California
Enable Comments Having comments on your post will signal search engines that there is some interaction and will boost your search engine rank.
Don't expect immediate traffic from a blogpost, it may take 2-3 months to get the full effect, but the more crafted your blogpost the bigger the return. In regards to highly targetted blog titles, you can expect traffic in less than 2 weeks.

Method 1: If you have a music video that has your beat in it, add it to a blog post and add a direct link to the beat underneath it using a beat link. Grab the beat link from your player, it's in the share window

Next, click on the chain link and copy the code
Finally add a hyperlink in your blogpost and add the code

This a direct sale blog post that is sure to boost sales. Realistically, you probably want to add more text to the blog post but this is an example of a direct sale post.
The above example is super effective but what if you don't have a Youtube video? You can always use an image instead and make sure it's an attention getting image with the "Buy Now" link underneath.
Pods are a crazy good way to get direct sales, You can select certain beats in your catalog and put them in Pod players, Pod players are small and can fit inside on Blog posts.
Pods Help with "Quick Sales"
For example, you have 3 EDM beats you want to showcase separately, put them in a single pod and create a blog post dedicated to EDM. When visitors come to your post they will be able to buy EDM type beats quickly.
